As the sale is drawing to an end, with reductions up to 50%, another past window came to our mind. This one is from January 2005 and sometimes it’s like this, we take all the furniture out and mess the shop a little bit during the sale period. That time we used piles of paper waste to display the products and even to do the price tags. Once in a while, we enjoy playing around with things this way.

On a base of unique traditional styles with a contemporary interpretation, designer Takuji Suzuki creates great detailed pieces
by blending and switching the way of adopting materials. Using glen plaid, seersucker, organic top-yarn cotton chambray, double
gauze and sharkskin fabrics, he creates relaxed effect clothing of sartorial quality and elegance.

It’s finally here!… Straight in from Japan, one of the most anticipated arrivals of the season.

Beyond this great, surreal movie moment, the scene shows us how important attitude is when it comes to men’s style.
Three different characters – Ben, Frank and Jeffrey, three different attitudes, three different ways of dressing and
somehow we cannot imagine them wearing anything else. It’s like the times when pieces of clothing seem to look
better on one person than the other, it’s the attitude that makes the difference.

Here’s another of our smoking friends. Same pose, high round collar, suit and double breasted vest.
Apart from this, those boots really remind us of Margiela…

Besides the obvious trip down memory lane, this 1983 video shows us a classic piece of men’s clothing – the peacoat.
It is such a referential piece that it can be seen on many of last season’s collections including the likes of Band of Outsiders,
Our Legacy, Neil Barrett or even Margiela. Although it can be worn in numerous ways, we love the way it’s featured on this
video with a denim jacket worn underneath and with the colorful scarf, tie and gloves giving it contrast.

With the sale going on and new stuff coming trough the door, we thought this was also the time to show you one of our
favorite shirts from last season. Made from a Japanese soft cotton bonded fabric, with mother of pearl buttons, this
work-style check shirt from Our Legacy is, designed in Sweden and made in Portugal. We can call it globalization…
