Raf Simons AW12 Looks

A true initiator of all trends future, Raf Simons is always on the forefront of menswear design. We are lucky enough to be on board carrying his namesake brand for some years now and, backed by the brilliant designs we puts out every season, pursue on conveying his extraordinary vision and what we think is a true modern aesthetic for men’s fashion. Raf, we salute you!
When talking about AW12, and instead of featuring the catwalk looks, we decided to go for this this video from the current collection fitting, which we believe fully encapsulates the mood outlining the pieces already available at the shop.

Maison Martin Margiela AW12 Looks

With trash bag and motorcycle references seen throughout, Maison Margiela’s AW12 doesn’t fall short of more classic tailored items, presenting several three piece ensembles paired along with its subversive doppelganger, the interchangeable boiler suit. In terms of form and structure, a classic silhouette is adopted on the outwear with single and double breasted jackets and coats featuring a traditional shoulder line, while pants show variable cuts and shapes, going from oversized to slim or anatomic fits. As for fabrics, camel hair, pure virgin wool, vinyl, heavy duty leather and lightweight textures are mixed together to achieve an impressive contrast effect. Dominant colors range from blacks to blues and camel brown, with highlights of red and white for the leather pieces.

We present you a whole new set of looks with pieces from the current AW12 season, carefully picked from our shop’s selection.
As weather starts getting chillier and raindrops insist on being part of our days so our looks get more wintery, featuring multiple layers, heavier styles and a more toned down color palette.

PS by Paul Smith AW12 Looks

So, don’t know if you been paying any attention but, this season we’ve kind of skipped a little on the designers/brands looks and have tried to give you our own interpretation of the AW12 offerings we have at the shop.
Still, there’s some looks or brands with just too good of a imagery to pass. Paul Smith is one of them, presenting a myriad (wait, did we just say that?…) of looks, with a different mood for each specific line the eponymous english brand conveys. Let’s start with PS…
